Viola Davis Helps Make Women's History Before the Emmys

Viola Davis is lovely in yellow while stepping out for the 2015 Women Making History Brunch presented by the National Women’s History Museum & Glamour Magazine on Saturday (September 19) at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.

The 50-year-old actress, Emmy-nominated for her work on How to Get Away with Murder, was joined by her husband Julius Tennon. She was one of the honorees at the event and her award was presented to her by Maria Bello!

Also in attendance were Kate Walsh, Leona Lewis, Veep‘s Anna Chlumsky, Orange Is the New Black‘s Taryn Manning and Jackie Cruz, The LeftoversAmy Brenneman, Devious Maids actresses Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Edy Ganem, and Brianna Brown, Tyrant‘s Moran Atias, and Fear the Walking Dead‘s Kim Dickens.

FYI: Kate is wearing a Novis top and skirt, and carrying an Edie Parker clutch. Anna is wearing Pierre Hardy shoes.

Justin Theroux's 'The Leftovers' Gets a Season Two Synopsis!

The upcoming second season of HBO’s The Leftovers has been shrouded in secrecy, but we have finally been given the official synopsis.

The upcoming season, which stars Justin Theroux, will premiere on October 4. The synopsis contains a whole lot of spoilers, so read at your own risk! Make sure to watch the teaser trailer that was recently released as well.

“After last season’s elaborate Memorial Day initiative by the Guilty Remnant plunged Mapleton into chaos, season two of The Leftovers finds many searching for a fresh start. Kevin Garvey (Theroux) has retired from his post as chief of police of Mapleton and is moving his new family to Texas. With him is Nora Durst (Carrie Coon), who’s discovered new purpose in caring for the baby she found on Kevin’s doorstep and welcomes leaving behind Mapleton and the incredible tragedy she suffered there. Equally eager to leave the town she grew up in and the friends she made there is Kevin’s daughter, Jill (Margaret Qualley).”

'The Leftovers' Season 2 Teaser Reveals the New Big Twist!

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of HBO’s The Leftovers is here and it finally has given insight into what the big twist of the season will be!

The clip shows a trail of cars lined up on a highway and not moving at all. We then see a road sign that shows the name “Jarden, Texas” along with a population count and a departures number of zero.

It was previously revealed that the season would move to Texas and that many cast members are not returning. Justin Theroux, Liv Tyler, Amy Brenneman, Chris Zylka, Margaret Qualley, and Carrie Coon will all be coming back though!

Lea Michele hits the black carpet with Elizabeth Banks and Julie Bowen for Step Up Women’s Network 2015 Inspiration Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday afternoon (June 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The trio of actresses were joined by Pitch Perfect‘s Skylar Astin and Ester Dean, Silicon Valley‘s Amanda Crew, Kimberly Brown, Lacey Chabert and Amy Davidson.

Mena Suvari, Garcelle Beauvais, Amy Brenneman, Felicity Huffman, and Lesley Ann Warren were also in attendance.

“#StepUp is such an amazing organization that inspires and motivates young women towards a positive future… So honored to have been a part of today’s event!” Lea shared on Instagram with some photos from inside the event.

Elle Fanning Shows Off Her Brand New Brunette Hairdo at the 'Boxtrolls' Premiere!

Elle Fanning debuts her brown hair on the red carpet at the premiere of The Boxtrolls at Universal CityWalk on Sunday afternoon (September 21) in Universal City, Calif.

The 16-year-old actress was joined at the event by Sir Ben Kingsley, Molly Ringwald, Nick Frost, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, Emma Kenney, Audrey Whitby, Amy Brenneman, and Ian Ziering.

Angie Harmon and Amy Brenneman get ready to party at HBO’s Primetime Emmy Awards Post Awards Reception held at The Plaza at the Pacific Design Center after the 2014 Emmy Awards on Monday (August 25) in Los Angeles.

The duo were also joined at the fun-filled affair after the night celebrating television’s finest by Marcia Gay Harden.

Amy recently teased the next episode of her hit HBO show The Leftovers.

“Love watching the recent speculative tweets about @TheLeftoversHBO. Kindly put, you have no idea what’s coming!” Amy wrote – last Sunday’s episode was very eye opening – we can’t wait to see what is in store!

'The Leftovers' Renewed for Second Season By HBO!

Great news – The Leftovers has officially been renewed for a second season on HBO!

“We are thrilled to bring back The Leftovers for a second season with the exceptional talents of Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta,” Michael Lombardo, president of HBO programming, said in a statement (via Deadline). “It has been truly exciting to see the overwhelming response to their provocative and original storytelling. We look forward to continuing the journey as the show delves deeper into the lives of those who remain.”

Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler, Chris Zylka, Margaret Qualley, Carrie Coon, Emily Meade, Amanda Warren, Ann Dowd, Michael Gaston, Max and Charlie Carver, and Annie Q star in the series.
