'Dr. Death' Trailer Debut: Joshua Jackson's Medical License Might Get Suspended!

Joshua Jackson preps his operating room for a tricky surgery in the first trailer for his upcoming Peacock series, Dr. Death.

The trailer comes just days after the streaming service revealed the first look images.

Based on the hit podcast, Dr. Death tells the terrifying true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch (Jackson), a rising star in the Dallas medical community. Young, charismatic and ostensibly brilliant, Dr. Duntsch was building a flourishing neurosurgery practice when everything suddenly changed.

Patients entered his operating room for complex but routine spinal surgeries and left permanently maimed or dead. As victims piled up, two fellow physicians, neurosurgeon Robert Henderson (Alec Baldwin) and vascular surgeon Randall Kirby (Christian Slater), as well as Dallas prosecutor Michelle Shughart (AnnaSophia Robb), set out to stop him. Dr. Death explores the twisted mind of Dr. Duntsch and the failures of the system designed to protect the most defenseless among us.

Other cast members featured in the newly released photos include Grace Gummer and Hubert Point-Du Jour.

Dr. Death will premiere on Peacock later this year, though a release date hasn’t been announced yet.

ABC Scraps Alec Baldwin & Kelsey Grammer's Series That Was Once a Straight to Series Order

Alec Baldwin and Kelsey Grammer‘s untitled series has been scrapped on ABC.

Deadline reports that the show, which also starred Alec Mapa, was passed on following executives watching the pilot episode.

The half hour comedy was one set for a straight to series show, and planned to debut in the 2021-22 season. However, it was scrapped after an executive change. Now, the show is being shopped elsewhere.

The untitled show would have followed three men – played by both Alecs and Kelsey - who were roommates in their 20s until their warring egos drove them apart. They reunite decades later for one more run at the lives they’ve always wanted.

The show was eyed as a companion to The Conners.

Kelsey is also set to star in a Frasier reboot on Paramount+.
