Cate Blanchett looks stunning while walking the red carpet at the closing ceremony of the 2020 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 12) in Venice, Italy.

The Oscar-winning actress served on the jury of the festival this year and walked the red carpet many times throughout the past two weeks.

Cate was joined by fashion designer Roberta Armani at the closing ceremony and she wore a peacock dress from Armani‘s latest couture collection.

Also in attendance at the closing ceremony were fellow jury member Matt Dillon and his girlfriend Roberta Mastromichele, as well as Diego Boneta.

Frances McDormand and Chloe Zhao are two names you’ll probably be hearing throughout the upcoming awards season!

The actress and director teamed up for the movie Nomadland and they were in attendance for the drive-in premiere held on Friday (September 11) at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

The movie is earning rave reviews and it also played at the Venice Film Festival, where it just won the festival’s Golden Lion Award.

Critics are saying that Frances is giving the performance of her career and she could be on track to win her third Academy Award. Chloe, who is directing the upcoming Marvel movie The Eternals, also seems to be a lock in the Best Director category.

With 23 reviews counted on Rotten Tomatoes, Nomadland currently has a perfect score of 100%.

Here is the movie’s synopsis: Following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, Fern (McDormand) packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad.

The 32-year-old actress, best known for her work as Princess Margaret on Netflix’s The Crown, won the award for her role in the new film Pieces of a Woman.

After the film’s premiere at the festival last week, critics raved about Vanessa‘s work and some even called it the performance of her career. It was just announced that the movie has been sold to Netflix!

Here’s the synopsis of Pieces of a Woman: Martha (Kirby) and Sean Carson (Shia LaBeouf) are a Boston couple on the verge of parenthood whose lives change irrevocably during a home birth at the hands of a flustered midwife, who faces charges of criminal negligence. Thus begins a year-long odyssey for Martha, who must navigate her grief while working through fractious relationships with her husband and her domineering mother, along with the publicly vilified midwife whom she must face in court.

Cate Blanchett wears a big print to the special Campari Boat Cinema screening of Mrs. America during the 2020 Venice Film Festival on Friday (September 11) in Venice, Italy.

The 51-year-old actress spoke about the mini-series, for which she received her first Emmy nomination for, during a Q&A session ahead of the screening.

Isabel May looks absolutely gorgeous on the red carpet while attending the premiere of her movie Run Hide Fight during the 2020 Venice Film Festival on Thursday (September 10) in Venice, Italy.

The 19-year-old actress is still a relative newcomer to the industry, though she already has a dedicated fan base thanks to her Netflix series Alexa & Katie and her role as Veronica on Young Sheldon.

Run Hide Fight marks Isabel‘s feature film debut and she was joined at the premiere by co-stars Thomas Jane and Radha Mitchell. Earlier in the day, they all attended a photo call as well.

James Norton looks so handsome while attending the premiere of his new movie Nowhere Special during the 2020 Venice Film Festival on Thursday (September 10) in Venice, Italy.

The 35-year-old actor most recently starred as John Brooke in the 2019 remake of Little Women.

James was joined at the event by his girlfriend Imogen Poots, who did not walk the red carpet. He walked the carpet with co-star Michael Lamont and writer/director Uberto Pasolini.

Nowhere Special stars James as “thirty five-year-old window cleaner John, who has dedicated his life to bringing up his son, after the child’s mother left them soon after giving birth. When John is given only a few months to live, he attempts to find a new, perfect family for his three-year-old son, determined to shield him from the terrible reality of the situation.”

James and Imogen have been dating for several years after starring in the West End production of the play Belleville in 2017.
