Sara Bareilles has been a Grammy winner for over a year, but she finally has her award in her possession!

The 41-year-old singer won the Grammy Award for Best American Roots Performance for her song “Saint Honesty” at last year’s ceremony, which took place on January 26, 2020.

Sara was unable to attend the event because she was starring in the musical Waitress in London at the time.

“Long road to this sweet moment. Just arrived today. One year later. Feeling all the joyful feelings,” Sara captioned a video, captured by her longtime boyfriend Joe Tippett, of the Grammy in her new home.

Sara is currently filming the upcoming Peacock comedy series Girls5Eva, which is being produced by Tina Fey. Check out the photos we posted from the set back in October.

Halsey is weighing in on the drama surrounding the Grammys.

After releasing her album Manic in early 2020, the 26-year-old singer decided to address the situation with the music awards show.

“I’ve been thinking and wanted to choose my words carefully because a lot of people have extended sympathy and apology to me since the Grammy nominations,” Halsey started in a message posted on her Instagram Story.

“The Grammys are an elusive process,” Halsey wrote. “It can often be about behind the scenes private performances, knowing the right people, campaigning though the grapevine, with the right handshakes and ‘bribes’ that can be just ambiguous enough to pass as ‘not-bribes.’”

She continued, “And if you get that far, it’s about committing to exclusive TV performances and making sure you help the Academy make their millions in advertising. Perhaps sometimes it is (!!) but it’s not always about the music or quality or culture.”

Halsey then mentioned The Weeknd, who also shockingly snubbed by the Grammys this year.

“@theweeknd deserves better, and Manic did too. Perhaps it’s unbecoming of me to say so but I can’t care anymore,” Halsey concluded. “While I am THRILLED for my talented friends who were recognized this year, I am hoping for more transparency and reform. But I’m sure this post will blacklist me anyway.”

Halsey‘s message comes after this mega entertainer said that the Grammys have lost their relevance.

The Weeknd is curiously missing from the 2021 Grammy Awards nominations list.

Despite being a favorite to win among prediction lists, the 30-year-old After Hours singer received zero nominations at the annual music awards ceremony – which is especially strange, considering his chart-breaking year.

His single “Blinding Lights” from After Hours became a global smash hit, and rose to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It spent 40 weeks in the Top 10, breaking a tie with Post Malone‘s “Circles” for the most weeks logged in the region in the chart’s 62-year history.

After Hours, which was released back in March, also featured singles “Heartless,” “In Your Eyes” and “Save Your Tears.” The album also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It even broke the record for the most global pre-adds for an album in Apple Music history.

He wasn’t always snubbed: he previously won in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category for Beauty Behind the Madness in 2016, as well as 2018 with Starboy.

United We Sing: A GRAMMY Salute To The Unsung Heroes is premiering tonight, June 21, on CBS and JustJared.com has the full celebrity and performer lineup!

Hosted by Harry Connick, Jr. and his daughter, Georgia, the special will follow them as they take a road trip in an RV to thank and celebrate essential workers who risk their own lives on a daily basis to keep us safe.

At each stop, Harry and Georgia will be listening to stories from essential workers in healthcare, food preparation, sanitation, law enforcement, trucking and more.

The show will come to a stop when they reach New Orleans, which is Harry‘s hometown.

The highly anticipated concert special Let’s Go Crazy: The GRAMMY Salute To Prince is airing TONIGHT (April 21) on CBS, and we’ve got the full list of performers who will hit the stage.

The tribute concert was filmed two days after the 2020 Grammys and hosted by Maya Rudolph, who also performed with her Prince cover band, Princess.

The performances from today’s biggest stars, as well as close collaborators and friends of the late superstar, will be broadcast at 9 p.m. ET/PT, only on CBS and streaming on CBS All Access.

“He was a perfect musician. It’s like when you have a tour guide and you know that they’re amazing—you just say, ‘All right, wherever you want to take me, let’s go.’ And that feeling carried through my entire experience of listening to Prince, not to mention when I got to see him live. When somebody’s that proficient at what they do, it’s almost relaxing,” said Maya in a recent interview.

Billie Eilish is getting candid.

The 18-year-old When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? singer opened up in an interview with Dazed.

Earlier in the year, Billie won in all four major categories at the 2020 Grammys, which she reflected on in the interview.

“I was surprised, I was dead surprised. And I was embarrassed, dude, I was f–kin’ embarrassed. I was in front of Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey and f–kin’ Beyoncé is nominated, and I win. I was like, Nooooo…I don’t deserve it. They deserve it,” she explained.

She also discussed her style: “If I wore a dress to something, I would be hated for it. People would be like, ‘You’ve changed, how dare you do what you’ve always rebelled against?’ I’m like, ‘I’m not rebelling against anything, really.’ I can’t stress it enough. I’m just wearing what I wanna wear. If there’s a day when I’m like, ‘You know what, I feel comfortable with my belly right now, and I wanna show my belly,’ I should be allowed to do that.”

Taylor Swift didn’t perform at, or even attend, the 2020 Grammys this year – and the reason was to be with her family, according to a new report.

The Lover singer-songwriter was spending time with her mother and family members, according to Us Weekly on Friday (January 31).

“Taylor was at Sundance [Film Festival in Utah] a few days before the Grammys for the premiere of her documentary. She was never confirmed to perform at the Grammys. She was not going to be in attendance at the Grammys because she was spending time with her family and her mother, who has a brain tumor and whose cancer has returned,” a source claims of her absence from the awards ceremony.

A second source told the publication that she decided not to go after Grammys CEO Deborah Dugan was “fired for bringing up issues regarding unlawful gender discrimination, sexual harassment, unlawful retaliation and unequal pay.”

Rumors swirled earlier in the week that she didn’t attend because she wanted to make sure she’d win first, which her reps quickly shut down.

“These statements made by anonymous, unidentified ‘sources’ are absolutely, 100 percent false and laughable. She just didn’t go to the Grammys. You guys need to calm down,” they said in a statement to Us.
