Colin Farrell took a very special lady to the Golden Globes – his mom!

The 40-year-old actor stepped out at the show with his mom Rita held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Other celebrities on the red carpet included Viggo Mortensen, Michael Keaton and Mel Gibson, who was accompanied by his pregnant girlfriend Rosalind Ross.

During the ceremony, Colin was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical for his role in The Lobster while Viggo was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama for Captain Fantastic. Meanwhile, Mel was nominated for Best Director for Hacksaw Ridge.

FYI: Colin is wearing Dolce & Gabanna and a Bulgari watch.

Sylvester Stallone and Carl Weathers hit the stage together to present at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The former Rocky co-stars were the final presenters of the night to hand out the award for Best Motion Picture – Drama. They presented the award to the movie Moonlight.

It was a big night for Sylvester as his three daughters – Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet – were Miss Golden Globe as a trio.

“A nice ‘peaceful and tranquil’ morning as the girls head off to prepare for the Golden Globes presentation tonight!” Sly captioned the below Instagram video before the show.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Justin Theroux took the stage separately at the Golden Globes this evening!

Justin and Anna Kendrick presented an award on stage during the show, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif. Jake Gyllenhaal also stopped by the show after his long and relaxing vacation in St. Barts!

The Stranger Things actress was also joined on the red carpet by American Crime actresses Regina King and Felicity Huffman.

Something that fans noticed during the 2017 Golden Globes was that there was no In Memoriam segment to pay tribute to the stars we have lost in the past year.

While there was no dedicated segment to all of the late stars of the entertainment industry, the awards show did have a tribute for Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds following their sudden deaths less than two weeks ago.

Brad made a surprise appearance to present a clip from the movie Moonlight, which he executive produced with his production company Plan B.

Leo was in attendance to present the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama as he was the Best Actor winner at last year’s show.
