A Girl Turns Into a Giant Red Panda in the New 'Turning Red' Trailer - Watch Here!

The first look at the new movie introduces Mei Lee, voiced by newcomer Rosalie Chiang, a 13-year-old who suddenly “poofs” into a giant red panda when she gets too excited.

When Mei‘s mom stops by the school for a surprise visit, the teenager finds herself transforming in the middle of class despite her best attempts to calm herself down.

Sandra Oh voices Mei’s protective mom Ming in the movie, which is directed by Oscar-winning director Domee Shi.

Turning Red is set to premiere in theaters March 11, 2022.
