Michaela Cuomo, Daughter of Andrew Cuomo, Opens Up About Her Sexuality

The Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo‘s daughter Michaela Kennedy Cuomo has opened up about how she identifies.

The 23-year-old revealed she’s queer in an Instagram post during Pride month, and is now further opening up about how she sexually identifies.

Michaela spoke about her sexual identity in an Instagram Live with activist and author Donato Tramuto.

“When I was in elementary school, I feared that I was lesbian. When I was in middle school, I came out to my family and close friends as bisexual. When I was in high school, I discovered pansexuality and thought, ‘That’s the flag for me,’” she began.

“I’ve recently learned more about demisexuality and have believed that that identity resonates with me most,” she added.

The definition of demisexuality is “feeling sexual attraction towards another person only after establishing an emotional bond with that person.”
