Taika Waititi Breaks Silence on Those PDA Photos with Rita Ora & Tessa Thompson

Back in May of 2021, director Taika Waititi was photographed in a steamy embrace with his rumored girlfriend Rita Ora and actress Tessa Thompson, who worked with him on the Thor movies.

Now, the 45-year-old director was asked if he was upset about the amount of attention those photos received.

Taika‘s response to the question?

“Not really,” Taika said in a new interview (via ET Canada). “I think in the world of the internet, everything goes away pretty quick. And also, ‘is it that big a deal?’ No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It’s fine.”

At the time the photos were taken, Taika and Tessa were filming Thor: Love and Thunder together. Tessa is reprising her role as Valkyrie from 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok. Taika directed Ragnarok as well, so the pair go way back.
