The 22-year-old rapper took to the stage for a performance of his song “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” during the awards show on Sunday night (June 27) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

For his performance, Lil Nas X gave off Egyptian vibes in a six-pack baring gold outfit.

At one point, Lil Nas X started making out with one of his male dancers.

Just recently in a new interview, he opened up about the backlash the song got, which he admitted he wasn’t expecting.

“I definitely didn’t expect the outrage as much as it was at all, especially governors tweeting me. Like, ‘You’re a governor. You don’t have anything better to do?’” Lil Nas X said.
