Liev Schreiber & Matilda De Angelis Take In The Sights of Venice While Filming New Movie

Matilda De Angelis wears a pretty yellow dress underneath a warm vest on the set of her new movie, Across The River and Into The Trees in Venice, Italy earlier in the week.

The actress, who you might recognize from The Undoing, is starring opposite Liev Schreiber in the period movie based on the Ernest Hemingway novel.

Matilda and Liev were seen filming a dinner scene between their characters, before taking in some of the famous sights of Venice along the Grand Canal.

Here’s the summary of the book: “This is the story of Richard Cantwell, a war-ravaged American colonel stationed in Italy at the close of the Second World War, and his love for a young Italian countess.”

This was Hemingway’s last full-length novel that was published in his lifetime.

Liev and Matilda wrapped up shooting on the movie in 2020 before their holiday break by filming a sweet dance scene.
