Joe Biden to Receive COVID-19 Vaccine As Soon As Next Week, Mike Pence Will Be Vaccinated Friday

President-elect Joe Biden will reportedly receive the Coronavirus vaccine as soon as next week.

During an event this week, he said, “I don’t want to get ahead of the line, but I want to make sure we demonstrate to the American people that it is safe to take. When I do it, I’ll do it publicly so you can all witness my getting it done.”

Vice President Mike Pence, his wife Karen Pence, and the Surgeon General Jerome Adams will all receive the vaccine on Friday to “promote the safety and efficacy of the vaccine and build confidence among the American people.” The event will be shown to the public to instill confidence.

The vaccine first became available in the United States just a few days ago.
