Nicholas Hoult Reveals The Moment He Knew He Made It As An Actor

Nicholas Hoult hangs out in front of a motorcycle during the Mad Max Fury Road drive-in screening event over the weekend at The Grove in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old actor sipped on an alcohol-free Heineken® 0.0 ahead of joining co-star Charlize Theron at the event, and relived some of the on-set moments during a Q&A panel.

Nick remembered that one scene with Charlize made him realize he’d made it as an actor.

“I knew I really arrived as an actor when there was a scene when you spat in my face,” he shared. “I think I asked politely, ‘Do you mind if I spit back?’”

The screening benefited The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) champions young people living in Africa by investing in organizations that prioritize and advance the health, education, and community support of these youth.
