Taylor Swift Accepts Billboard Award on Eve of Her 30th Birthday

Taylor Swift walks the red carpet while attending the 2019 Billboard Women in Music event on Thursday (December 12) at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

The superstar accepted the first-ever Woman of the Decade Award on the eve of her 30th birthday.

Taylor walked the carpet with the legendary Cyndi Lauper and during the show, The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil presented the award to her. They are both pictured in the gallery, along with Jameela‘s boyfriend James Blake.

During her speech, Taylor looked back at the past decade of her career and how a lot of the moves she made were responses to how the media portrayed her. She ended the speech by saying “lately I’ve been focusing less on doing what they say I can’t do and more on doing whatever the hell I want.”
