Yesterday, it was announced that social-networking service Twitter will develop an unscripted TV series that would "put players on the trail of celebrities in an interactive, competitive format."
The official Twitter blog just posted a little clarification: "There is no official Twitter TV show�"although if there were it would be fun to cast! In dealing with networks and production companies we sometimes have simple agreements. Regarding the [Reveille productions and Brillstein Entertainment Partners] project reported today, we have a lightweight, non-exclusive, agreement with the producers which helps them move forward more freely."
The proposed series is the first to bring the immediacy of Twitter to the TV screen.
